Abstract:
This work is meant to provide a conceptual insight on how properties of fractals could be used into modelling an encryption solution and the way it could complement quantum architectures for data protection, taking into consideration how data safety takes its toll on adapting to and adopting evolving Internet technologies. This need comes from the assumption that, soon, the sheer power of quantum computing will be able to break modern day algorithms and could put at risk the majority of our personal data. Avoiding turning data safety into a social crisis means the Internet can be governed ethically and people’s privacy is not undervalued.
