Abstract:

The paper proposes the presentation of preliminary research on the use of drones in precision farming so that Romanian farmers can get the optimization of agricultural production. Drones are currently widely used in international agricultural production, mainly in primary crop and livestock production. Demand for drones has increased significantly recently as drone costs have fallen and as drone software in agriculture becomes more sophisticated.The aim of this research is to highlight the importance of drone in agriculture on the basis of SWOT analysis, for monitoring and observing plant vegetation, in order to provide farmers improved crop management and production.
