Approaching Econometrics as a Serious Game in order to Provide Professional and Soft Skills to Undergraduate Students

Abstract:

The paper describes a teaching experience with regard to econometrics for undergraduate students at Bucharest University of Economic Studies – Faculty of Finance and Banking. Firstly, the motivation for a new design with regard to econometrics course and seminar is presented. Secondly, the main activities that were introduced within the seminars and courses are described. Thirdly, several ideas for further improving the econometrics course and seminar are stated.
