Abstract:

According to the relation of Digital Preservation and the Health field as a case of study, the architectural model help us to explain that definition. The principal goal of Data Preservation is to keep information for a long term. Regarding of Medical information, in order to perform a heart transplant, physicians need to preserve his organ in an adequate way. This approach between the two perspectives, the medical and the technological allow to check the similarities about the concepts of preservation. Digital preservation and medical advances are related in the same level as knowledge improvement.
