Abstract:

The paper describes the results of research project low-cost solutions datacenters with high availability within inovation project, which was realised by AGCOM a.s. and MF Servis s.r.o. companies in collaboration with University of Hradec Králové (as a part of HIT Klastr). The project is focused on architecture with high rate of redundancy, security and avilability but with low energetic costs and simple deployment. The aim of this paper is description of assumptions and practical solutions low-cost datacenters as an alternative to standard commercial solutions based on specialized products. Nowadays are robust solutions used in big companies due to its price. The goal of companies is to find simple, price-friendly and secure solution for data storing. The results described in this paper show performance improvements can be achieved.
