Abstract:
Globalised firms are subjecting to a variety of demands from an increasingly competitive market place. These demands are forcing decision makers to manage their value chain by allowing the share of information beyond the confines of their internal environment. In order to stay competitive, organisations need to share information with supplier-facing partners and also need to gather information from their customer-facing partners. So this require to think about a new way of Value chain modeling as an important new perspective on enterprise design and optimization because conventional business process models as well as case management models that define mechanisms of control over the business performance does not always correspond to the flow of work products that produces customer value. So a new model is targeted to address the digital society in general and business community in particular in order to satisfy the needs of enterprise integration standards that provide real-world value (as mentioned in the OMG Mission statement). For this purpose it is required to conceive a theoretical model that can consider the use of contemporary state-of-the-art, new management technologies and trends such as BPM, SOA and Cloud computing to address the end-users, government agencies, business community belonging to e-governance and e-business domains. The purpose of bringing out any theoretical model should be in a position to address a broad spectrum in a comprehensive manner without leaving the ground or base line. Objective of the proposed ASCP model is designed to meet the consideration of such an abstraction level where high level abstraction, customization and personalization levels are brought to a common standardized level taking the help of BPM and SOA concepts into consideration.
