Abstract:
Socialist centralized economy specific both to our country until the events of December 1989 and to the former socialist countries in Central and Eastern Europe was characterized by a series of definable elements, good in their essence, if correctly applied. This structural crisis is the direct result of the two types of crisis which exist simultaneously: the crisis of the system taken over and perpetuated from the former regime and the crisis added by transition. This paper presents an analysis regarding the privatization process in Romania, during transition period towards the market economy.
