Assessing an Innovative Way of Teaching Econometrics

Abstract:

There is an urgent need for a new approach with regard to teaching in higher education institutions in Romania. This research assesses a new way of teaching econometrics. A questionnaire comprising of 11 questions was distributed to students participating in the econometrics class during the 2018-2019 academic year. The results showed that most of the elements that were introduced in the seminar helped students understand the subject and made learning more joyful.
