Assessing Primary Risks in an Industrial Production Scenario

Abstract:

It is said that the ground beneath us is constantly shifting. Well, this is the case for the digitalized area and what will inevitably come in digitalized industries, a constantly shifting.  This phenomenon of constantly shifting brings unstable ground like it seems to be for the new industrial revolution which comes alongside its certain fears, risks, distrust especially from the part of the business sector. All these harmfully factors are the starting point that can affect the enterprise system. This transition from manual to digital processes offers inevitable new types of risks. We may call interconnected risks referring to humans, systems-data and objects.  Researchers present appropriate approaches for the new industry through the adaptation of the instruments established already in the management area and modified frameworks to smoothly pass from manual processes to digital processes execution. The research team identifies risk categories applicable for new digitalized revolution an offers a cause-effect diagram in an industrial production scenario in the automotive industry. After the risks are classified the main objective is to insert them in a framework that provides decision support for maintenance personnel, in an industrial production scenario, where maintenance needs an immediate response.
