Abstract:
The article considers the estimation of the digital maturity of the enterprise as one of the important prerequisites for the digital transformation of the enterprise. The concept of digital maturity of the enterprise is analyzed and its essence is determined. Existing models of estimation of the digital maturity of the enterprise, developed by foreign scientists and consulting companies, are characterized. It is established that the given models of estimation of digital maturity have a structure which corresponds to the standard model of the SMMI and provide the possibility of finding bottlenecks of the enterprise for carrying out digital transformation. It is proved that the existing models also have certain features that make them ineffective for localization of problems and construction of the enterprise development plan, and the disadvantages of these models, in particular the models, are not adapted to the reality of the environment in which Ukrainian enterprises operate. Therefore, an author's model for assessing the digital maturity of an enterprise has been developed that provides a structural approach to assessing digital transformation and is complete enough to cover all aspects of the digital transformation of the enterprise. On the basis of the conducted research, a model was developed which provides for determining the level of digital maturity in 6 directions of activity of the enterprise: strategy, personnel, structure, technologies, marketing, organizational culture. According to the study of the process of digitalization of enterprises, the analysis of attributes of digital maturity in different models and the characteristics of digital transformation, for the assessment of digital maturity in each of the areas of activity of the enterprise a list of relevant questions is determined, the answers to which help to determine the state of digital maturity of the enterprise. It is concluded that the assessment of the digital maturity of the enterprise enables the enterprise to obtain certain advantages: the opportunity to form a holistic view of the real level of digital maturity and the desired state; making recommendations based on the conditions and features of a particular enterprise; identifying the hidden digital potential of the enterprise; familiarization with the opportunities provided by digital technologies.
