Abstract:
It is determined that the economic security of a travel company as an opportunity to ensure a steady state, stable productive and effective activity under the influence of the external environment against the background of internal changes covers the hierarchically interrelated levels: nano-level (security of consumers of study); microlevel (safety and security of a travel company); macrolevel (safety and security of destinations – from tourists that might harm), which makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of preventive management measures to secure from possible losses. The economic security components of a travel company are analyzed: personnel, financial, technological, legal, informational. Measures to improve economic security are proposed on the basis of a PEST-analysis of tourism activities in Bulgaria. Opportunities and threats to the development of the tourism sector in Bulgaria are analyzed.
