Assessment of Prospective Teachers’ Professional Competencies in the Process of Practical Training

Abstract:

The article examines the peculiarities of assessing prospective teachers’ professional competencies in the process of practical training with the help of the diagnostic card. The authors define the structure and the content of the diagnostic card, and the list of students’ professional skills, describe the assessment scale and the kinds of tasks that allow finding out the development level of future teachers’ professional competences. The article is for students, teachers supervising practical teaching training, and all those who are interested in competence-oriented education at the university.
