Abstract:
The study presents the international activity of chemical industry enterprises in the context of their economic results. All the considerations were divided into two parts. In the first part, the role and impact of globalization on international enterprise development was described and then related to the formation and evaluation of strategies of enterprises operating on international markets. In the second part, the empirical analysis of the financial situation of three chemical industry companies operating on international markets, belonging to one corporation, was carried out. The aim of the paper was to get to know and assess the financial situation of three enterprises operating on various international markets in reference to the processes of globalization and evaluation of the strategies of the surveyed enterprises. The research methods used in the article were literature studies as well as comparative analysis and trend analysis. The value of the study consists in measuring and assessing the economic results of international enterprises from the point of view of their freedom and financial independence, verified by the level and dynamics of the golden balance sheet rule index.
