Assessment of the Institutional Framework of Russia’s Cooperation with North African Countries

Abstract:

The article analyzes the existing institutional framework for cooperation between the Russian Federation and North African countries such as Sudan, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. Trade interaction with these countries has both common positive and negative aspects, as well as qualitative differences, based on different levels of socio-economic development, political situation, level of development of trade and economic cooperation with the Russian Federation. The study attempts to consider promising areas of foreign trade cooperation and to propose an institutional basis for its implementation.
