Abstract:
This paper is based on the concept of innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem, which is adapted to the specific situation of Romania in 2014, with the deliberate purpose to present a variety of public policies designed to streamline the ante-mentioned ecosystem. The methodology of detection of these policies is based on two relevant pillars: Romania's position in terms of territorial capital, defined as all economic, cultural, environmental and social assets that ensure the potential development of the characterized area, and the opinion of Romanian entrepreneurs on the facts and policies related to regional development. In the conclusion of the paper, starting from the facts and opinions of the stakeholders interviewed, the authors propose a list of measures and policies directed at improving the regional innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem in Romania’s development regions.
