Abstract:

The research theme is "Managing the diversity of parts in the production line" and aims to identify and manage the different types of parts to be produced by implementing an application in the Simatic Step 7 programming environment specific to the Siemens programmable and PresencePLUS specific to the video camera Banner P4 BCR used. The track identification and management application is for the engine department from Renault Company, on the crankshaft line. This paper aims at making an application for identifying the crankshaft type in the production line before entering it in the machine for adjusting the machine program for each type of part.
