Abstract:

The paper deals with promoting entrepreneurship from the Structural Funds of the European Union, and the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations in particular. The aim of the paper is to assess availability and use of the OPEI programme in small and middle-sized enterprises in the region of South Bohemia. The paper also analyses other programmes promoting small and middle-sized enterprises, the current state of their use in the region of South Bohemia in the programming period of 2007-2013 and the perspectives after 2013.
