Background and Directions of Transformation of the Current World Order

Abstract:

The paper reveals the results of the unipolar world order implemented since the 1990s of the XX century after the collapse of the USSR.  The research determines the prerequisites for modernization of the current world order and highlights the centers of resistance of the American centrist model. First of all, it is China which over the past 15 years accumulated considerable resources and potential and developed its own tactics of influencing counterparties with the aim of building an allied network; then Latin America, Iran, North Korea and Russia. Russia has significant potential in certain areas. In particular, the territory of Russia is the most important factor to occupy leadership positions in the world. Natural resources are another criterion for determining the potential of a country. By this criterion, the position of Russia in the world is even higher; it is the most resource-rich actor for putting forward an independent new world alternative. Russia is most affected by socio-economic and political factors. But unlike geographic, these factors can be changed in a targeted way.
