“Baltic Power” Energy Transition, Management of Renewable Energy Sources in Poland

Abstract:

The establishment of wind power plants in the Baltic is a key element of efforts to achieve sustainable development in the region. The article presents one of the investments that are being built at the moment. The study focuses on the environmental and economic benefits of this type of solution. In addition, the article reviews the achievements of wind power in Poland to date and forecasts their future development. It also highlights the impact of these solutions on the local community, the marine environment and the region's economy. The article points out that wind farms in the Baltic Sea can play an important role in the energy transition, contributing to both reducing greenhouse gas emissions, stimulating economic development and increasing energy independence. However, it points out how important it is to effectively manage the implementation process of these projects, taking into account various social, ecological and economic aspects, in order to ensure a sustainable and balanced energy transition in Poland and realize the potential of the Baltic Sea.
