BDA (BDA) Factors and Organizational Impact (OI): Systematic Literature Review

Abstract:

Organizations expect to achieve excellence and more productiveness in their business. In order to sustain at the current business landscape, the organization continuously look for the sufficient way to utilize their valuable resources, regardless the existing of Big Data. However, in the rapid changes and severe of BD, there are absence of in-depth review in certain topic, issues and   classification of the existing studies in this area. This study aims to increase the understanding of Big Data Adoption (BDA) at the present state by underlining the studies conducted in this area, theoretical models and the relevant factors. The review methodology of this Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is following the guidelines form Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) that can be accessed through website www.prisma-statement.org. This type of SLR involves several phases and set of questionnaires were setup to be answered. As a result, TOE model and DOI are the most popular theoretical models used for BDA in various domains; 2)This study exposed thirty-five factors in technology, organization, and environment that relevant to the BDA; 3) The areas that impacted on BDA in the organization; 4) Finally, challenges found and current research about BDA are presented. This study exposes the factors that can be considered for researchers and management in BDA for the improvisation.
