Abstract:

During the last years, terrorism has become a great worldwide danger: threatening the world peace and the global economic prosperity. Aware of the fast development of the terrorist networks and their dangerous affects, relevant techniques were developed to analyze and detect terrorist activities in media networks. For instance, Social Network Analysis(SNA) is one of the most effective and predictive methods applied to countering cyber terrorism. In this paper, we introduce a new method for terrorist communities detection according to their networks of contact and their publications based on Twitter as social network. Then, we determine the influencers users in network. We evaluate the performance of our approach by applying different quality function measures of terrorist communities.
