Abstract:

The article aims to diagnose the application of the benchmarking concept in the Polish Armed Forces. The article describes the research methodology and presents the benchmarking partners of the Polish Armed Forces. Next, the "Lessons Learned System" functioning in the Armed Forces is presented as a benchmarking tool. In the following part of the study, there are given selected examples of its application. Conclusions from the conducted research are described in the context of applying and extending benchmarking use in the Armed Forces. A parallel goal is to bring the scientific staff and readers of the scientific periodical closer to the military benchmarking field of international cooperation.
