Abstract:

This paper emphasizes most of the E connotations when approaching the Business Intelligence (BI) field not just as methodology but also as practical implementations meant to serve as support for organizational decisions. There are many ways to start presenting them and the paper is also focusing on the nowadays technological possibilities. This article has also resumed the specificity of BI applications, their trends, the problem of real-time response and some other limitations related to their capability to respond to ad-hoc organizational changes by changing their behavior and their feed-back using advanced interfaces.
