Abstract:

 In the 21st century, the need to constantly collect and process large amounts of data is becoming commonplace. This work aims to demonstrate that Big Data solutions constitute significant support in the scope of management. Taking the example of the Druid analytical platform, an attempt was made to demonstrate that new technologies are an important element in the effective application of Big Data solutions. Based on the work carried out, it was found that Big Data solutions are currently used to solve management problems, among others supporting decision-making processes in the organisation. Achieving the benefits of Big Data for the development of the business requires the readiness of managers to introduce changes, both at the organisational level as well as changes in the implementation of new technologies. One such example is the Druid technology, which enables very fast data analysis. This allows to define business applications in a shorter time than when using another type of technology. Therefore, openness to more and more newer technologies creates opportunities for new enterprise development perspectives.
