Abstract:

In this article we have firstly observed big data types collected in transport industry and technologies used to process such data. Secondly, this paper gives an overview of implementation of big data technologies in Russian largest transport company. As a result, it has been investigated, that the united corporate data storage, which was developed in the company for centralized data management, has led to significant improvement in decision making process in terms of data delivery time and the quality of that data.
