Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to present an overview of applications and new challenge of Big Data as a result of a literature review. A brief analysis has been done about Big Data concept, its characteristics, application, adoption opportunities and challenges. Today the application of Big Data increase in different sectors. However, Big Data as an emergent technology presents challenges as security, data quality, adequate infrastructure and new roles and responsibilities and competencies to make a satisfactory adoption of Big Data.
