Abstract:
Today's companies are trying to make the most efficient operation possible. In order to optimize the company, it is necessary to know the complex functioning of the company - ie corporate/business processes. Using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) or BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) syntax, complex diagrams and methodologies are created to make the best use of these syntaxes.
This article presents this useful notation from its inception to the present and points to some problematic aspects of its use.
