Abstract:
A human resource well trained and prepared to its whole potential is a major objective of both the
organization and the society. A method to accomplish this goal is the continuing training of the human resource. This means the implementation of efficient training programs. Using different methods and techniques in order to draw such a plan results in a large quantity of data, which must be sorted, grouped and analyzed. This means that the human resource department of the organization needs to undertake a considerable effort in the elaboration of the plan. As a result, many organizations meet with difficulties and often abandon this activity, leaving the process of training to take its course, thus wasting resources (time and money). A decision support system (DSS) is a possible solution to the problem.
