Abstract:

At the present moment, the sharing economy is actively expanding all over the world, and Russia is not an exception. There are hundreds of collaborative consumption companies which operate in the majority of countries. In this paper, we focus on the sharing economy business models. Nowadays literature in this sphere is intensively developing and up to now many definitions and frameworks have been introduced for the business models which operate on sharing economy basis. The approach of business models framework has particular popularity among academics and practitioners. There were proposed many kinds of business models canvas, including those for sharing economy companies. At the same time the literature on business models and particularly on P2P business models is still immature and so it is an opportunity to contribute to it. In this short paper, we introduce our classification of sharing economy business models and offer for the consideration our variant of business models framework. Now we are in the process of qualitative research of ten P2P Russian companies with an aim to adjust the proposed business models framework.
