Business Models of Foreign Subsidiary Units of International Companies –Evidence from 400 Polish-French Companies

Abstract:

On the basis of the study of literature the article discusses the types of roles played by foreign units of international companies and synthetically presents the problem of business models focusing on the perspective of internationalization of business operations. The gaps are presented in the form of the following research questions: what are the elements of the business models of foreign units of international companies? Do the same elements constitute the business models of international companies and their foreign units? The aim of the empirical research is to characterize 400 Polish-French companies, especially specification of business models on which those organizations are based.
