Can Employers and Educational Institutions Learn More about Their Candidates through Analysing Their Heroes?

Abstract:

Nowadays, with the lack of qualified workforce in almost all sectors, understanding the attitudes of students and employees towards their duties and career paths becomes more and more important The paper deals with the findings of the first-order survey of heroes taken for behavioural models by the groups of 4th grade pupils and 8th grade pupils of three different primary schools in Slovakia. Even though the samples are small, the differences identified in hero categories can be significant for understanding the tendencies and the further research.
