Abstract:

This article provides the analysis of the actual state and level of agricultural lands use, presents the reasons of these lands degradation. It systemizes the factors creating obstacles for activating investments aimed to agricultural lands fertility restoring. Also, the article presents different capital investments of agricultural enterprises oriented to lands reclamation, such as drainage, irrigation, amelioration, creation of highly productive hayfields, pasturages etc. It is proposed to evaluate land resources of agricultural enterprises according to fair value that will contribute to better transparency and credibility of financial reporting. For this purpose it is necessary to elaborate the methodology of agricultural lands evaluation taking into account the indices of soils rating, crop yield in every region.
