Abstract:
Small and medium enterprises (SME) in Malaysia have contributed to Malaysia economy significantly since a last few decades. However, there were still a few unresolved issues such as globalization, marketing and managerial capability. Thus, collaboration between a university and ABC Sdn Bhd* was formed. As a result, an entrepreneurial seminar was conducted for female entrepreneurs from rural areas. Finally, a case study is performed to identify whether entrepreneurial knowledge has been successfully transferred to the participants. Data were collected via observations on the participants’ background, interview survey to the participants and face-to face interview to the speakers. The findings suggested that the entrepreneurial knowledge had been partially transferred to the female entrepreneurs. However, the module should be modified in order to be more effective.
