Abstract:

The article presents a panorama of the phenomenon of replacement of human labour by machine labour, The impact ofthe COVID-19 pandemic on trade in 2020-Z021 has been presented. The research carried out using the author's survey questionnaire among customers of large-area stores with a dominant offer of grocery goods has been described. A set of seven items identifying opinions on the use of self—service checkouts was identified. Then the frequency of occurrence was examined and the relations between opinions were defined. The article concludes with recommendations for action in the area of practice and science based on the analysis.
