Abstract:
The study aims to investigate the challenges for human resource management practices according to the increasing number of Ukrainian employees working in Poland. This paper applies a desk research methodology. The study is based on a statistical, official data register. The results reveal selected problems considered in the field of interest of HRM applied in the case of employees from Ukraine, and their plans - intend to stay for a longer period or permanently, as it pertains to the employment in Poland. The findings of this study will be indispensable to HRM specialists, scholars and researchers of development studies, international politics, migration and diaspora studies, economy, public policy, sociology and social anthropology. It will also be of importance to government think tanks and NGO’s working in these areas.
