Chambers of Commerce as a Form of Business Representation in Poland

Abstract:

Chambers of commerce in Poland are an example of business organisations. The chamber of commerce Act regulates their activities. The purpose of this article is to present chambers of commerce in Poland as a form of business representation. The solutions outlined are conceptual. The article reviews publications on the subject from legal and economic literature. The authors used a critical analysis and the desk research method. In addition, attention was paid to selected issues concerning the structure of enterprises in Poland in 2024. In the further part of the article, a classification of terms concerning chambers of commerce was made to present their areas of activity. The article also gives a closer look at the activities of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. In discussing the obtained results, an attempt was made to detail the considerations through the prism of formulating answers to the adopted research questions.
