Changes the Reachability of the Regional Center Associated with the Construction of High-Speed Communications – Calculation using Izochrone

Abstract:

The contribution deals with the issue of the significance of the road infrastructure. General context are examined in a specific regional environment. Paper based on the dissertation "the Importance of logistics infrastructure in the border area of the Moravian-silesian region" [1] and the project SGS 20/2014 “Analyses of the business environment in the region Karvina” at the Silesian university in between the quality of road infrastructure and business activities, on the basis of which it would be possible to provide recommendations for further routing of the development of road infrastructure in the region. Research is routed to the structurally affected the border area of the Moravian-silesian region (MSR), in which are exhibited negative trends in the development of basic socio-economic indicators, high unemployment, high crime, high mortality, low educational structure of the population etc,. The region shows a significant disparity in the density of population, the density of the transport network, the quality of the transport network and the dislocation of economic activities. Despite these negatives, the region is a relatively high potential, especially from the viewpoint of links on 'Ostrava agglomeration", which amounts to more than a million residents. From the geographic location is a significant part of the border MSR in the european context is understood as the primary node in the concept of the main trans-european network TEN-T. The importance of logistics infrastructure from the perspective of the region has a very wide scope, whether it be the deployment of the economic activity or population, and associated with him the development of entrepreneurial activity, unemployment, the environment. Analysis of the availability and the changes caused by the building of the new high-speed communications, enable to monitor the relations between the development of road infrastructure and the development of the business activity related factors. This work deals with the changes in availability of selected villages of the region, which emerged as a result of the construction of the D1 (D47), and high-speed communications, R48, 56 and the I/11.
