Abstract:
The article outlines the characteristics of the code of good practice that may be used to ensure business continuity of the production company. The elements of the code, understood as the rules of procedure, good practices or recommendations have been divided into six areas representing all stages of the lifecycle of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The specification of the professional practices for each area is based on several main assumptions: each production process or its activity should be performed with integrity and due care, the processes or tasks should be executed considering the goals and needs of all stakeholders of the process or tasks, using knowledge, methods and tools based on evidence that confirms their reliability or efficiency and guarantees competence and professional application.
