Abstract:

Geologic exploration forms a solid foundation for stable operation of producing companies and regional social-economic development. The paper estimates the effect of geologic exploration on regional gross product and revenues in regional budgets by means of non-parametric DEA economic-mathematical method. The research is focused on oil-producing constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The results of model simulation have revealed the differentiation of the regions in terms of incidence, which is a consequence of lack in state regulating function in replacement process
