Abstract:

The article presents a comparative analysis of selected corrugated cardboard packaging types in terms of their technical, promotional, and environmental properties, with the aim of determining their suitability for logistics and transport processes. The study involved testing abrasion resistance, compressive strength, and edgewise compressive strength. In addition, the functionality, aesthetics, and information content of the packaging were evaluated, along with its environmental impact, taking into account, among other factors, the possibilities of recycling, reuse, and energy recovery. The results obtained were used to develop a comprehensive qualitative assessment of the packaging under investigation, identifying its advantages, limitations, and optimal areas of application depending on the specific characteristics of the transported products.
