Abstract:

The article presents a spectrum of views on the definition of the main object of logistics. The features of the main variants of definitions of "flow" , "logistic flow", and "flow process" are presented and analyzed. A comparative analysis of these concepts is performed as an object of logistics. The problem of identity or difference of the concepts of "flow" and "flow process" is considered and the authors' variant of its solution with definition of the parity of these concepts in logistic sphere and the choice of object of logistics is offered. The definition of the flow process applied to the industrial sphere is given.
