Abstract:
The article considers the approach to the selection of managers and specialists at the enterprises of the Russian Federation from the position of competence approach. The results of empirical research of professionally important qualities of managers and specialists working at industrial enterprises are presented. The characteristics of the manager's personality that are necessary for effective management are described in detail. Differences in psychological qualities of the manager and the expert corresponding to differences in the performed professional functions are shown. In accordance with the revealed differences in the personality structure of managers and specialists, the positive aspects of competence standards and shortcomings of the approach are analyzed. The developed style of activity for both the manager and the specialist, always has an individual character, so special attention is paid to the characteristics of the individual, providing interaction in the team, an active life position, organizational skills, features of logical thinking and motivation to work.. In modern enterprises of the Russian Federation requirements to the personnel are considered from a position of the competence approach. The article discusses various approaches to the allocation of competencies, generalizes the competence of the manager and specialist, to a large extent, determining their professional success. It is concluded that the set of competencies that are proposed to develop employees is not permanent and complete. In the article, The listed competencies help to standardize the approach to assessing the potential of both managers and specialists, but the list of competencies can not be complete and complete, as the business environment is constantly changing. Professional success of the specialists performing the main production functions at the enterprise is provided by a certain set of personality qualities. The effectiveness of the Manager is associated with other qualities of personality, such as the ability to integrative, uniting all the qualities of personality that are represented in professional competencies.
