Abstract:

In our paper we consider essence and structure of economic innovative potential as well as the existing methods of its assessment at the macroeconomic level. Moreover, we analyze the placement of Russia in the world ratings and indexes of innovative development. We also look at the dynamics of changes of the indicators characterizing its innovative potential. Our research enables us to reveal the main problems of development of economic innovative potential of Russia and to formulate the directions of innovative development for a long economic run.
