Abstract:

In order to maintain its position on a highly competitive market and especially to ensure long-term growth, both small and medium-sized and large enterprises in Romania feel a strong need for standard software products, like general or more sophisticated applications (Enterprise Resource Planning) for economic and financial analysis of the company. In order to identify the computerized state of economic and financial analysis in Romanian companies, a questionnaire was developed and disseminated through the Internet, to both practitioners and theoreticians of Accounting area especially to those who work in the economic and financial analysis area. Responses obtained were graphically modeled through a spreadsheet program and based on analysis, have been developed a series of conclusions, presented in the current research.
