Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to identify the influence between organizational communication and job performance in the collaborators of a mining company in Peru. Quantitative approach research was carried out, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design at the explanatory level using the structural equation model (SEM), in a sample of 214 workers. The Organizational Communication Test questionnaire and the Individual Work Performance Scale (IWPQ) were used as instruments. The results showed a positive influence of 73% of the organizational communication dimensions on the variability of work performance. Likewise, the dimensions of upward, downward and horizontal communication influence with a coefficient respectively in job performance. Finally, the theoretical model is acceptable since the following indicators such as: chi square , , p < 0.001; CFI = 0.973; RMSEA = 0.047; RMSR = 0.024, are within the established parameters. It is concluded that good organizational communication across all departments, including managers, subordinates, and colleagues, is key to the job performance of workers in the mining company.
