Abstract:

The research objective is to determine the level of project management maturity in the Polish energy sector contemporary enterprises and indicate the directions of project management improvement from the perspective of the learning organization characteristics. It is assumed that the analysis made and developed proposals will improve the level of project management maturity Polish energy sector enterprises through the recommendation of innovative solutions for the implementation of projects, and the project driven orders. Background research focused on the development of learning organization characteristics is the result of permanent need for transformation of the enterprise that manage projects from a traditional organization into intelligent. Generative learning processes lead to obtaining new solutions enable to search for new approaches to problems, and are therefore also important for the development of project management maturity contemporary enterprises in the energy sector in Poland.
