Abstract:

Through this scientific approach we wanted to tackle a controversial and least investigated area for the Romanian media market, that is the public television service. The adoption of the Economic Recovery Program of the public television service represented an important step to reform the public television and re-size the institution in accordance with the current economic situation. In the current economic context, our objective has been to analyze the way the adoption of the Recovery Program and its implementation have led to an improvement in the performance of the Romanian Television Company (RTC).
