Abstract:

The article analyses the principles of continuing education in the national educational system which gives an opportunity to improve professional skills, offers vocational re-training with the help of modern educational technologies.The study proves the efficiency e-learning for continuing education. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which emerged in the first decade of the XXI century, have developed in the Russian education system. The authors give recommendations for the development of the system of national continuing learning.
