Abstract:

The paper provides the data and analysis on innovative activity in the RF in the context of import substitution. Some contradictions in the regional innovative activity are defined, possible ways to overcome them are described, including more active work of administrative bodies in terms of the quality assurance system of the used financial resources, calculation of innovation efficiency, innovative activity stimulation given the import substitution coefficient under the conditions of increasing competition for target markets.
