Abstract:

While moving from application silos to integrated solutions and further to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), architecture and integration teams are being set up to support this approach. Activities covered by architecture and integration team may significantly overlap with each other;thereforeproper set with clear competencies is required.

The aim of the paper is to identify overlapping activities, categorize and filter them and then propose variants of efficient cooperation model between the teams. Overlaps in activities, potential issues coming from such overlaps and advantages of the variants are also contained in the paper.
